Most Frequently Asked Questions!

I am excited to work with clients who are ready to improve their life and began the journey of healing-whether it’s working on depression, anxiety, anger, grief, or any other emotional problems.

I want them to know that part of being human is to know pain. It’s how we choose to respond to painful experiences that determines our course in life. And 1st Step Counseling can help you navigate through that pain.

I’m inspired by the resiliency of people who show bravery and courage when sharing their deepest secrets and experiencing painful emotions.

Clients can expect a comfortable, authentic, safe, and empowering space to share their struggles.

I would like a chance to get to know the individual by learning about what they want to focus on in therapy and what kinds of goals they want to set for their treatment.

This is a collaborative process and it is my goal to empower clients to make the changes they want.
